Submissions are now being accepted for the 2013 Palladio Awards. The 12th annual competition will recognize outstanding work in traditional design for commercial, institutional, public and residential projects.
The Palladio Awards program is co-produced by Clem Labine's Traditional Building and Clem Labine's Period Homes magazines and is named in honor of Andrea Palladio, the Renaissance architect who created modern architecture for his time while drawing on past models for inspiration.
Awards will be considered in the following categories:
Commercial, Institutional & Public Architecture:
- Restoration & Renovation
- Adaptive Reuse and/or Sympathetic Additions
- New Design & Construction – less than 30,000 sq.ft.
- New Design & Construction – more than 30,000 sq.ft.
- Public Spaces: Parks, Plazas, Streetscapes, Gardens
Residential Architecture:
- Restoration & Renovation
- Adaptive Reuse and/or Sympathetic Additions
- New Design & Construction – less than 5,000 sq.ft.
- New Design & Construction – more than 5,000 sq.ft.
- Exterior Spaces: Gardens & Landscapes
- Residential Multi-Unit
Projects completed between November 2010 and November 2012 are eligible.
